Wai Ora has come a long way in the last 21 years when our founder Marama Dey started Wai Ora as a
vision from God with no money, no property and no resources.

Today Wai Ora has it’s own properties, 6
fulltime and 5 part-time staff, many volunteers
and 3 fulltime courses.

Wai Ora has helped educate & better equip for  
life, hundreds of rangatahi and their extended
whanau and continues to grow the vision of

              “setting the captives free” 

Our 21st celebration is an opportunity to connect openly with the community, present Wai Ora to our stakeholders and to promote Wai Ora as a good learning centre for our students and future students.

Open day tours will run 1/2 hourly from 10am to 1pm.

fundraising canteen will also be open.
