Social worker

The Wai Ora Christian Community Trust wishes to appoint and experienced social worker to work with students in our alternative education course and with high care clients, whanau/families in Wanganui.
This position is full time has a large degree of self-management and autonomy.

The successful applicant would have:

A level “6” Diploma in Social Work or higher, a Level  “7” Degree is the preferred qualification.
Have attained their Social Work registration or be working towards it.
Experienced at leading a team.
Experienced in class room situations.
Excellent written and oral skills.
An ability to work effectively with Maori Rangatahi and their Whanau Hupu and Iwi.
The ability to work across culturally.
A current and clean driver's licence.
Good computing skills.
